Fix your staff problems by doing this
If you run a business you might have noticed that staff “forget” about the standard operating procedures you put in place.
You tell them what to do but then they “forget” what they’re supposed to do.
When you go to McDonald’s they’re supposed to say ‘Welcome to McDonalds can I get you order please’. But what do they actually say? ‘Yo can I help you’ or ‘your order?’ etc.
They’re supposed to say a very simple thing and if you don’t stay on top of it as a business owner people will forget the standard operating procedures.
But they don’t forget, they just get sloppy or lazy. Yes, I’ve had staff, I was staff at one point I know how it goes, “It’s a hassle let’s just keep it nice and simple”.
No. We’re going to enforce whatever we put in place because we want to do an excellent job for our clients.
So don’t assume that once you train them once that’s it. It needs to be every day again and
