Most Marketing is Cringe
Whenever I tell people that I teach marketing and I run a marketing agency. It always feels a bit weird because lets face most marketing is cringe.
Companies (especially big ones) cough cough Jaguar can produce some horrendous ads or even worse people turn marketing into some complex, scientific experiment that only a genius could ever crack. It’s so stupid.
You don’t need to do science experiments, you don’t need 10 years at business school or three masters degrees.
99% of marketing problems you can solve by just asking yourself: “who are we selling to?” “What kind of problem are they trying to solve?” “ Why should they call us to solve this problem?” That’s it.
