 A lot of my clients have the same issue; terrible clients. Wanted to share a bit of advice on how to find better ones.

 



Some clients are a cut above the rest. They pay on well, on time. They have better projects, the list goes on. You need to find these people.

 



And once you do a good job for them your golden, they’ll probably spit out more work for years.

 



But how do you get them? That’s the question.

 



Your never going to get the best clients with a quick cold message saying ‘I do X, do you need X?’

 



It’s never going to be a simple sale.

 



The real secret to getting these clients lies in marketing.

 



To get great clients you have to reach out to the right person at the right time with the right piece of advice.

 



Let me give you an example; an architect is designing a building and he’s struggling with what floor finishes to select.

 



If you reach out and provide some early advice, send them some options, floor buildups and answer any questions. Boom you’re in, they see you as a consultant rather than a pesky salesman and you’ve built trust.

 



Before you know it you’ll have floor tiles flying out of the door all because of a little advice.
