Was talking to a construction business owner yesterday. We covered something you'll find interesting too.

We were going over his sales presentation. Seeing if there's room for improvement.

Man poured his heart into it. Went all out. Deserved an epic soundtrack.

So we get to the end and he asked me the big question: "so, what do you think?"

That's when I had to tell him in a semi-diplomatic way: "yeah... it's bad. But we'll make it wayyy better!"

Don't get me wrong.

Presentation was beautiful. Well organised. Intricate. Covered alllllll the bases.

But here's the major problem that EVERY business owner faces:

No one cares about our stuff nearly as much as WE care about our stuff.

WE care about how the sausage is made. WE care how much work we put in. WE care about the effort we go through. All the steps we DON'T skip.

But our clients? They genuinely don't care. They only care about IF it works. Not HOW it works.

Sales presentations should ALWAYS and ONLY be focused on proving that your thing works.

Forget the details. No one cares about details. We only care about results.

Best to doublecheck your sales presentation and keep this in mind.
